hippocampus (f) remains. Fibers of the hippocampus extend rostrally as the
fornix (fo).
Bottom. Same specimen as top, but the hippocampus has been reflected rostrally to produce a ventral view. Notice the
hippocampus (h), the
fimbria (fi), and the
