Cow genital tract opened dorsally to show the extent of the vestibule (1) and the vagina (2). Caudal to the suburethral diverticulum there is a mucosal groove (3) that is continuous with the diverticulum. The urethral orifice is deep to the arrow tip (4). 5, clitoral fossa; 6, ventral commissure of the vulva; 7, transverse folds of the cervix; 8, ovary; 9, uterine horn; 10, urinary bladder.
