Welcome to this preliminary Carnivore Anatomy Pre-Lab home page. At the University of Minnesota, carnivore gross anatomy is taught to first-year veterinary students in 25 dissection labs of a course entitled Anatomy and Imaging (CVM 6100). Each dissection lab gives students a problem-solving opportunity to discover new anatomical structures and learn additional anatomical terminology by following prescribed dissection techniques. By allowing students to preview anatomical objectives, terms, dissection procedures and images prior to their labs, this web site will prepare students to have a more effcient and effective dissection experience and consequently gain enhanced anatomical knowledge.
