Cerebellar Peduncles

The three cerebellar peduncles are shown in this artist sketch of a dorsal view of the brainstem with the cerebellum removed. The middle cerebellar peduncle (M) is most lateral. The rostrtal cerebellar peduncle (R) is medial; it bounds the foruth ventricle rostrally. The caudal cerebellar peduncle (C) rises abruptly from the shoulder of the fourth ventricle.
