Vestibulospinal Tracts

The lateral vestibulospinal tract activates limb extensor muslcles to maintain the body in an upright posture, in response to accelerations that would otherwise lead to falling.

The medial longitudinal fasciculus is a tract that reflexly activates eye muscles and neck muscles to counter acceleration.

(The cervical portion of the medial longitudinal fasciculus is sometime called the medial vestibulospinal tract.)
