Cerebrum, Cerebellum, and Brainstem

It is common to divide the brain into three parts: cerebrum (telencephalon), cerebellum (dorsal part of the metencephalon), and brainstem. The brainstem shows some of the segmental features exhibited by the spinal cord. The cerebrum and cerebellum are referred to as suprasegmental structures.
