Denticulate Ligament

Meninges are sectioned transversely on the left side of the spinal cord (not shown). Dura mater is the thick fibrous layer to the left. Arachnoid is artifactually pulled away from dura mater (subarachnoid space is to the right of arachnoid membrane). Denticulate ligament, including a process of denticulate ligament extending half way to dura mater, is shown at the right. Pia mater collagen is greatly expanded in the denticulate ligment.
