A lateral view of a canine brain is shown below. Vessels containing red latex are prominent on the surface of the cerebral hemisphere. An olfactory bulb is evident at the lower left. The cerebellum and brainstem are caudal to the cerebrum. The brainstem blends with the spinal cord.
