Choroid plexus of a brain ventricle (H&E stain). Each brain ventricle has a choroid plexus that secretes cerebrospinal fluid. Each choroid plexus consists of vascular villi lined by cuboidal ependymal cells, called choroid plexus epithelium. The arrows indicate red blood cells in vessels. An enlarged view is shown on the right.
