This is a ventral view of a dissected sheep cerebrum. The left piriform lobe has been dissected to reveal the hippocampus (white) and amygdala (yellow). On the right side the hippocampus (green) and amygdala (yellow) are sectioned more deeply. Columns of fornix are indicated by red. The lateral olfactory tract (blue) and olfactory bulb (orange) are marked.
