Canine Brain Section

The rostral end of the medulla oblongata features a trapzoid body located deep to bilateral pyramids and ventral to prominent dorsal nuclei of the trapezoid body. Cranial nerves VI, VII, and VIII exit at this level of the myelencephalon. In addition, the cerebellum is sectioned.
