External genitalia of a male cat. The prepuce (1) has been incised and reflected to expose the caudally directed penis (2). (Spines on the skin of the penis are not quite visible.) The scrotum (3) has been incised and reflected to reveal the testis (4) and spermatic cord (5). Notice the absence of a cremaster m. (the functionally equivalent levator scroti m. is not visible). Testicular vessels (6) and a ductus deferens (7) enter a dissected inguinal canal (8).

Notice: external obturator m. (9), adductor m. (10), femoral vessels (11), and the pudendoepigastric trunk (12), which divides into caudal epigastric a. and external pudendal a. (arrow).
