Isolated heart, cranial view. The pulmonary trunk (1) conus arteriosus (2) region, and the right ventricle (3) have been incised to view the interior of these strucures. The pulmonary trunk divides into right (4) and left (5) pulmonary arteries. The right auricle (6) and aortic arch (7) are evident.
The paraconal interventricular groove (8) demarcates right and left ventricles cranially. Find the left auricle (9), the left atrium (10), left ventricle (11), and the fat-filled coronary groove (12).
