The ventral surface of the pelvis has been exposed by reflecting the adductor m. (1). The external obturator m. (2) and the quadratus femoris m. (3) belong to the caudal hip muscle group. The insertion of the iliopsoas m. (4) is visible.
Other muscles include: pectineus (5), sartorius (6), semimembranosus (7), semitendinosus (8), and external abdominal oblique m. (9).
