Cat, left thoracic limb, lateral view with muscles removed from the scapular and brachial regions, except for the long head of the triceps brachii m. (1); the brachialis m. (2); and the aconeus m. (3) visible just proximal to the olecranon (arrow). Notice that the long head of the triceps brachii m. attaches to the caudal border of the scapula, so it bridges two joints. A large acromion (asterisk) is present in the cat.
