Lateral view, limb abducted. The serratus ventralis m. (1) can be seen attaching to the dorsomedial surface of the scapula. Separate this attachment to remove the limb. Notice also the esophagus (2) and carotid sheath (3) located ventrally in the neck. Several nerves can be seen (short arrows).
