Canine Cervicothoracic & Middle Cervical Ganglia
Lateral view of the left cervicothoracic ganglion and middle cervical ganglion in the dog. The ganglia are connected by the ansa subclavia (through which the subcalvian artery passes). The ganglia send postganglionic axons to thoracic viscera via branches from the caudal limb of the ansa subclavia and branches that run with the vagus nerve.
