Three Cranial Nerve Parasympathetic Nuclei

The facial nerve synapses in the pterygopalatine ganglion to innervate lacrimal and nasal glands and in the mandibular ganglion to innervate mandibular and sublingual salivary glands. The glosssopharyngeal nerve synapses in the otic ganglion and innervates parotid and zygomatic salivary glands.
